Q: Do I have to be vaccinated to join the tour?
A: Yes, you must be vaccinated with 2 doses, or 1 in the case of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine to attend the tour. If your second dose was more than 110 days prior to the departure date of your trip, you will also need to receive the booster shot.
Q: How long before the tour do I need to have the vaccine?
A: You must have received your second dose at least 14 days prior to entry into Portugal. If you received your second dose more than 110 days before your scheduled departure date, you will be required to have the booster shot as well. (This 110-day timeline is based on the French entry requirement that if your last shot was more than 4 months before your entry into France, you must receive the booster shot. The timeline was adjusted to account for the travel days prior to arrival in France.)
Q: Do I need to get the booster shot?
A: If you received your second shot more than 110 days before the return date of your trip, you will need to receive the booster shot. This shot must be done at least 14 days prior to your departure. (Based on this timeline, the majority of our clients will need a booster shot.)
Q: What types of vaccines are accepted?
A: All WHO-approved vaccines are accepted, including the following: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson, and Johnson.
Q: Do I still have to take a covid test if I am fully vaccinated?
A: No, fully vaccinated travelers do not need to test before entering Portugal.
Q: What testing is required for this trip?
A: No testing is required for fully vaccinated travelers.
Q: Do I have to wear a mask on the trip?
A: Masks are required in medical facilities such as hospitals, pharmacies, etc. While masks are not required in most places, we do encourage you to bring a couple of masks incase you may need them.
